1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DayWeave (https://dayweave.in) (the "Service"), you agree to be
bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access
the Service.
2. Description of Service
DayWeave is a hybrid-work scheduling, planning, and productivity application that includes features
such as Kanban boards, calendar management, and period-based attendance optimization. The Service
currently offers local-only usage and a Cloud tier ("Upgrade to Cloud") for data synchronization.
3. Employment Policy Compliance (WFO/WFH)
DayWeave includes features to calculate, generate, and optimize Work From Office (WFO) and Work From
Home (WFH) schedules based on user-inputted parameters.
No Guarantee of Compliance: The Service is strictly an
organizational tool. We make no guarantees that the schedules generated or optimized by DayWeave
comply with your employer’s actual attendance policies, labor laws, or employment contracts.
User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying that your final
schedule meets your employer's requirements. DayWeave and its creators shall not be held liable
for any workplace disciplinary actions, loss of employment, or wage deductions resulting from
your reliance on the Service.
4. Data Storage, Syncing, and Third-Party
Services
DayWeave is designed with a privacy-first, zero-knowledge architecture. We do not host, store, or
transmit your scheduling data, notes, or files on our own servers. Data handling depends entirely on
your chosen usage mode:
Local Storage Mode: If you use the standard version, all
configuration, schedules, notes, tasks, and files are stored strictly locally in your browser's
localStorage. You acknowledge that clearing your browser cache, using incognito/private mode, or
device failure will result in permanent data loss. You are solely responsible for backing up
your data using the provided "Save Config" feature.
Cloud Tier (Microsoft OneDrive): If you use the "Upgrade to Cloud" feature, your
data and files are synced directly to your personal, authenticated Microsoft OneDrive account.
By using this feature, you agree to comply with Microsoft’s Terms of Service and Acceptable Use
Policies. DayWeave is not responsible for data loss, sync failures, or service interruptions
caused by Microsoft OneDrive, API changes, or your own account storage limits.
5. Schedule Encryption and Data Recovery
DayWeave offers an optional AES-GCM encryption feature to secure your schedule files.
No Key Recovery: This encryption is managed entirely client-side.
DayWeave does not store, transmit, or have access to your encryption password. If you forget or lose
your password, your encrypted schedule cannot be decrypted or recovered by us under any
circumstances.
6. Pricing and Subscriptions
DayWeave, including the Cloud tier, is currently provided free of charge. However, we reserve the
right to modify our pricing structure at any time. We may introduce fees, subscriptions, or paywalls
for the Cloud tier or other premium features in the future. We will provide reasonable notice to
active users before any mandatory pricing changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after
such changes constitutes your agreement to the new pricing terms.
7. User Conduct and Intellectual Property
All original features, algorithms (including the scheduling optimization engine), interface designs,
and code of DayWeave are the exclusive property of the Service's creators. You agree not to attempt
to reverse-engineer, duplicate, or exploit any part of the Service, or inject malicious code that
compromises the app's functionality.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Service
will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate in its scheduling outputs.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DayWeave and its creators shall not be liable for any
indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, without
limitation, loss of wages, loss of employment, data loss, or business interruptions arising out of
your use or inability to use the Service, or from the failure of third-party services like Microsoft
OneDrive.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Andhra Pradesh, India,
without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought
exclusively in the local courts of Andhra Pradesh.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. By continuing to use our Service after
revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.
